Samir M. Zoghby / Parades

Drawing, sreen printing

Exhibition from february 29, 2020 to may 17, 2020

About 20 exhibitions to his credit, a commented drawing book published at the end of 2018, the creation of two postage stamps (for UNICEF and the World Food Programme)….

Regularly, since the 70’s, Samir M. zoghby has been able to show his free work, self-taught, as well as his drawings and paintings.

A rather surprising career path, therefore unconventional.
And at the grand old age of 87 summers, he has just realized his first exhibition in France with the Nathalie Béreau gallery at Chai Pierre and Bertrand Couly in Chinon.

Entitled Parades, this exhibition presents about forty drawings from two series that the artist has developed over several years.
The Birds, Colorful, and Daily Life in Egypt, in black and white.

This last series was the main subject of a book, «Mémoire d’Egypte» published in 2018  by the publishing house Editions Sutton, and will be available during the exhibition.

Exhibition at Chai Pierre and Bertrand Couly in Chinon (37).
