Prix Lacourière
Established in 1979 under the auspices of the Fondation de France in honor of the engraver and master printer Roger Lacourière, this biennial prize is intended to recognize an intaglio engraver aged 45 or younger (born no earlier than 1978) who is French or has resided in France for at least three years.
Awarded by a jury composed of museum curators and members of the Print Department of the Bibliothèque nationale de France, as well as technicians, gallery owners, critics, and art historians, the prize is worth 10,000 euros.
Those wishing to enter the competition may submit or mail their work to the Print and Photography Department of the Bibliothèque nationale de France.
