Joint opening reception at each gallery on Thursday, October 22, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

For this 8th edition organized by the CSEDT, “Parisian Galleries Week for Prints and Drawings” will take place from October 23 to November 1, with a joint opening reception at each gallery on Thursday, October 22—by invitation from each gallery.

This year’s event coincides with a time when Paris is once again celebrating art through internationally recognized fairs that attract art lovers, collectors, and professionals.

The event brings together members of the CSEDT (Chambre Syndicale de l’Estampe, du Dessin et du Tableau, founded in 1919), who will invite visitors and collectors to discover works and artists spanning all eras.
It is part of the revival that the CSEDT has been fostering for several years in collaboration with specialized galleries.

Much like the “Paris Print Fair” event launched in the spring of 2022, the “Parisian Galleries Week of Prints and Drawings” tour showcases previously unseen, original works selected by passionate professionals.
During this event, each gallery is given free rein, allowing visitors and collectors to explore a variety of media (drawing, printmaking, photography, painting, etc.), with some galleries placing a particular emphasis on drawing or printmaking.

Some galleries specializing in antique or modern prints are also opening their doors to contemporary artists, which demonstrates the vitality of this technique, which remains very much alive in today’s art scene.
Finally, new galleries have joined the tour, so don’t hesitate to wander through Paris and step inside…
