C.G. Boerner’s reputation is based on an intimate knowledge of Old Masters such as Schongauer, Dürer, Baldung, Cranach, Rembrandt, van Ostade, Bellange, Nanteuil, Piranesi, Goya, etc., prints and drawings of the German Romantics, 19th century European masters and German expressionists. The Gallery also regularly has works by American printmakers, including Whistler, Edward Hopper, Martin Lewis and George Bellows.
