Emanuel von Baeyer is delighted to present our summer exhibition featuring Walter Sickert (1860 – 1942), one of the most formative artists of the early 20th century in Britain, with others in his circle – Francis Seymour Haden (1818 – 1910), Hercules Barbazon (1821 – 1906), Charles Keene (1823 – 1891), James Abbott MacNeil Whistler (1834 -1903), Theodore Roussel (1847 – 1926), Frank Lewis Emanuel (1865 – 1948), William Rothenstein (1872 – 1945), Sylvia Gosse (1881 – 1968) and Thérèse Lessore (1884 – 1945).
The display includes prints, drawings, paintings and photographs.

Emanuel von Baeyer Cabinet presents a new online exhibition of prints by Francis Seymour Haden (1818 London – 1910 New Alresford).
The English printmaker Haden championed the Etching Revival in Britain in the late 19th century and was one of the founders of the Society of Painter-Etchers as well its first president. Our small display of etchings and drypoints by the artist from 1859 until 1864 includes views of London.
