Exhibition from april 8, 2022 to may 7, 2022

The exhibition  “Transe canadienne Canadian exhaltation”, our second exhibition dedicated to the artist Ariane Fruit (born in 1975 in Rouen) is an opportunity to show in its entirety the series of eponymous woodcuts made by the artist to echo her journey across Canada by train in 2019.“A dive into infinite expanses, golden meadows undulated by the wind, cultivated fields as far as the eye can see, scenery of lakes, innumerable and generous forests which up to the top of their peaks let us glimpse their murky  depth “. We can almost feel the gentle rocking of train as we go along, then the silence of bruised conifers and birches, burnt or blown to the ground by gusts, takes its place..” This is how Aurélie Sécheret describes Ariane Fruit’s black and white landscapes. An invitation to travel. Edition of a catalog with a preface by Aurélie Sécheret, Catalog available as a current edition or as a first edition, accompanied by a linoleum engraving, created for this occasion.
